2008 Toyota Tacoma blower problems

Hello Everyone, new here, but have read a lot of useful, and helpful information about Tacoma's. I have a question about my 2008 Tacoma, the blower fan runs at high speed on all selector settings, i have previously changed plug and resistor last year due to fan only working on high speed, but now only high speed runs what ever selector set at, it does turn off when selected.

 

where did you get the resistor? it sounds like the resistor went bad. I have seen this with aftermarket resistors from advance and oreiley.

 

Believe i did get it from Advance, before the fan wouldn't run on other speed selection, just high, i may try new resistor 1st, Thanks...

 

they should warranty it if you have a receipt. how does the harness look? and melting or burn marks?

 

Replaced the plug as well, old one had burnt connectors

 

I would just double check that plug to make sure it didnt burn as well.
