    I actually had that happen to me once, the broke rod. I was with a friend of mine in his beautiful Hydrasports bass boat, it was cold, I had a flannel shirt on, it was red and black. We had been fishing for a bit and I had one of his nice lures on, I made a cast and my rod broke at the bottom of the reel. I had the handle in my hand. He yelled at me GRAB IT!!!!!! I yelled back IT'S TOO COLD, I AIN'T PUTTING MY HAND IN THAT WATER!!!! I watched it sink :eek:

    We were quiet for the rest of the day :pout:

    I did not have my pistol with me.
