Yeah. My "good entries" on a few swings are looking like they were very, very bad entries. Oh well... There'll be an upside eventually. Maybe...

 

SPY puts all day. 2 min scalp went ITM

 

I don't mess with options, calls, puts, any of that yet. Still over my head.

All I do is scalp a little and swing commons. Small cash account to try to learn.

 

Options are fun, but also terrifying. Especially when they expire worthless

Here I am about to lose $600 in roughly 45 minutes

 

Paper trade first. For at least a month.

 

Dammit man, I almost forgot I had those expiring today! Lol

Haha, I did. And I did fairly well. I started the account with $1000, willing to lose it all. Did well with paper trading for a month and a half. Transitioned to real trading, doubled my account. Got greedy and the market corrected my stupid ass. Market Tuition is a thing.

If it's good enough to screen shot, it's good enough to take profit. Now I scale out on the way up. Now I'm down to around $700ish. Been at it about a year. Learned a lot. Once these swings go, my trading style will be much better than it was when I entered these.

 

Yea this kangaroo market is a scalpers paradise. Once it gets back to a swing style market, it'll be easier to hold overnight with conviction. I'm trying to be cash overnight everyday with this volatility.
