Looking for a shop/someone that is good with electrical work. I need to have my ARB dual wired up to my switch panel . The main harness is already wired through the truck, just need help with going to the switch panel. I am horrible at electrical work :anonymous:. Willing to pay for your time. The compressor also seized on me prior to getting my panel so I need to get it looked at. I contacted ARB and they said there are two wires in the back i should touch together to see if that does the trick, but can't do that until it's wired. Been sitting on the garage floor for a while so it's about time to fix my $500 investment so i can start using it again haha.

Also if anyone knows a place/person that can install a cab mount relocate kit and a shop that does re-gearing. New to the area and trying to find some good shops!

Hope to meet y'all on the trails !

famous last words "just touch the two wires together, see if that does the trick."

haha, I'm in Spokane, but really enjoy the electrical part of modifying trucks. I have tons of terminations, heat shrink, etc. If you're ever out this way or passing through I'm happy to help. I wouldn't charge you expect a few bucks for materials.

edit: I have the ARB dual compressor, so I'm familiar with that wiring in particular.

In the Kitsap Area, the only two places that I am aware of are both in Silverdale:

    https://www.northridge4x4.com/

    and

    http://www.truckgear4x4.com/

I have no experience with either of them, but you could talk to them and see what they say. At the very least, they might be able to refer you to someone who could help you.

Let us know how it goes.

Oh, and I forgot to say, Welcome to our beautiful area!
This winter has been a bit extra-nasty, but soon the Cherry Blossoms will signal the end of that, and the beginning of our good weather season.

And also, avoid the local Stealership (HeartAttack Toyota) - they are beyond BAD !!

They are the worst. Closed their door to the service bay on the hood of my '83 a while back. Wouldn't fix it or take responsibility.

    OUCH !

Ya, I did all my own 'Toyota Care' work myself. I wouldn't let those incompetent Goons near my truck.

    Yes, and I agree!
Thus, I affectionately refer to them as HeartAttack Toyota ;)

    Yes, verrrry bad !

Evidently their Corporate Motto must be "None Worse"; and they seem to be working quite hard at achieving that goal.

So, maybe that’s just a Toyota motto lol. Was heading out to Rainier area for my first snowshoe trip and made a right turn out by Eatonville and randomly my BRAKE light comes on and starts beeping….wtf? Check e-brake, everything good. Made another right turn again…BRAKE and beeping, straighten out gone again. Pull over and try to look it up/look around the truck (was about 440am). I find a post saying possible low brake fluid. I check it, little low but not too crazy. Keep driving test brakes every so often everything is fine.

    the show must go on!

Keep driving and then now on a straight road….BRAKE, now it won’t go off with constant fast beeping. Wtf ?!? Have to sit in a autozone parking lot for almost an hour at this point for them to open. Use a code reader: “low brake fluid”. Add brake fluid everything is off and working. Great! Keep driving, something feels “off”. Stop at 2 more lights, ooohhh fuk now brake pedal going to the floor and hardly stopping. Had to throttle e brake slowly to not ram into a VW filled with probably praying nuns. Limp it to a Toyota not too far away. They look into it and find a sliced front passenger brake line.

    now for the money shot….

they quoted me (with inspection and labor) five HUNDRED and eleven dollars. For. A. Brake. Line. Needless to say my truck is being towed home from Tacoma tomorrow and my $50 steel braided lines from Amazon (StopTech) will arrive tomorrow as well. I might have briefly lost consciousness when they told me the price. I can’t remember exactly.

    OUCH!
Yet another Toyota Dealer to avoid (Eatonville?).

It sounds like it could have been worse, and you made the right call - well done!
And, its only February, so there is still plenty of time for more snowshoeing trips.

    So...pretty funny outcome.

So when I left my truck at toyota they gave me a loaner, 2022 4rnr (Lunar rock). Was actually really nice...anyway. I had that all weekend and told me the service would not be done until Wednesday. I was already planning on not having it done but I needed to borrow that loaner for the weekend :anonymous:. Called them TUESDAY morning and told them i was going to have my truck towed. Called them again probably an hour or 2 later to tell them i was en route. They gave me the a-okay. I get there, give them their keys and ask for mine. They grab them and let me know i owe them about $450. I looked at them like :duh: whatchu mean?! They said that the service just finished and the truck was done. I showed them that i called twice and told the person on the phone twice not to do the maintenance and that i would be towing. Long story short after the service rep talking to the female i spoke with and the manager they waived the service and basically fixed my truck for free.
