    I'm reading sarcasm (I think).

Good used parts for a Land Rover, yes. dealt with them a couple of times years ago.

Not to rain on the good news above, but I need a little space to figure this out.

You guys don't know a lot about me and my background, but from high school till now, I have always been one who would help others if I could, stand up the for the little guy, and generally not hide what i think, feel, believe. I don't know if it's a sense of duty, having been bullied, Christian faith, or a combination of all it. I wrote once about something I experienced, and said that I "wanted to cry with him, pray for him, show some human kindness... but I couldn't because of the badge I wore. My job was to be the strong, stoic, silent one in the room."

Which makes today kind of suck a little. I had an unscheduled doctors visit today after a few days of suspicious symptoms regarding the thing in my chest that keeps me alive. Moderate exertion, climbing stairs, etc, leaves me winded with a little pressure in the chest. Which goes away when I stop. Which lead the doctor to write "urgent" on my stress test referral, lab work, and told me to take it easy. And get to the hospital if the symptoms returned. Because my dad had a "Widow Maker" blockage when he was 64. I'm 57. It scared me to tears when I got back to the truck. Suspicion, if not confirmed, at least "seconded."

My wife is an experience physician assistant in the cardiovascular area, and we talked and calmed me down a bit. The doctors orders were more a CYA about a return of the symptoms, for those who wouldn't be smart enough to take action. So I'm on light duty until Tuesday. No cheesesteak run tomorrow.

It's strange, and frustrating, when you want to be the strong one for everyone around you. And you can't be. I was just shoveling wet, heavy snow and ice a week ago, and now I'm not supposed to lift more than 10 pounds. And take the stairs slow and easy. And take baby aspirin. And not have that sniff of whiskey I want in front of the TV tonight.

For now I have some peace about it. We'll see what Tuesday brings. Then "Improvise, adapt, and overcome."

And now I have all day tomorrow to watch "Punisher" season 2. (After I finish season 1).

"We apologize for the interruption and now return you to regularly scheduled programming." :)

    :fistbump:

In boot I got sent to the BAS when we were "snapping in" for some mysterious spot on my trigger finger. Walking in two corpsman were walking out. One said to the other: "You know how to give a Marine a headache?" "No" said the other. "Throw some sand on the wall and the him to hit the beach."

Doc just called. So far, labs are negative. :fingerscrossed:

    Punisher Season 1 - complete.

Good deal! Season 1 was great. Season 2 was good, but not as. Great series. Shame it was canceled.

Tim, if you could feel love through words and heal from kind thoughts, you would be invincible. I have met lots of different people from lots different backgrounds, but never another you. I truly adore your ability to accept and understand everyone you are around, and bring comfort and kindness to any situation. You are one of the best of this community, and we all want and need you here for the long haul. Get better because you have lots more stories write, and a fan club that wants to read and envy your adventures.

Ditto to this (because I couldn't have said it better)...I have yet to even meet Tim in person but, despite that, he made a real sincere offer to help me out when I was struggling a little with maintenance on my dad's property while he's in the nursing home. I was going through a lot that week when Tim messaged me and to tell you the truth it choked me up a little and cheered me on a bunch, just knowing there are still really genuine good people out there.

@Tiny's Taco best wishes, thoughts, and prayers for a good report come Tuesday. If you need anything, message me...I'm just the next town over.

Thats great news Tim, please keep us posted on the rest of the results. If you need other shows to binge watch, Yellowstone is a good one. If you can make it through season 2, seasons 3 and 4 will reward you. And Ozark season 4 just came out, watched the first episode last night. That show is awesome.

Thanks guys. The words and sentiments are greatly appreciated.

Bill, we need to remedy the lack of a meet. Any good breakfast spots down there?

I'm not planning on going anywhere, and the support is truly appreciated. Keep it up and I may have to break out some of those stories.

    Have a good day guys.

I’m not implying anything but heard somewhere that instead of waiting for funerals to say nice things about people, we should do it on their birthdays.

Anytime we’re going to a meet up Tiffany will ask “Is Tiny gonna be there?” and finds comfort when she knows you will be. I can’t think of a better way to describe what kinda pal you are to us. Just know we feel that way about you because you aren’t the strong, stoic Tim you described above but a caring and kind Tiny we’ve come to know (and Sig loves you so that’s a plus hah).

Listen to the Docs and take it easy!

You guys are really try to get the eyeballs to leak again. Knock it off! (Kidding)

I've heard that good attracts good and vice-versa. You two are good together and that makes it easy to be ourselves around you. That's part of the amazing thing about this group, the ability to be yourself.

I'm planning being where ever we wind up next week. I maybe eating salad and taking children's aspirin, or a double cheeseburger and fries :fingerscrossed:, so let Tiffany know. Maybe I'll buy Sig a burger too!

    Thanks brother. Semper Fi!

    Edit: Great pic! Thx.
