    Can’t decide if I should throw money at my stock 09 TRD sport with 116k (lift, tires, etc.) or sell and look for 2nd gen trd OR like I originally wanted. The sport is all that was available at the time and I can’t justify throwing mudders/lift at something without a locker.

    Sports are plenty capable vehicles. You can add an Arb air locker if you want. For what it would cost you to get out of a sport and into an off road you could've essentially made your sport into an offroad. Keep it and run it.

    You could install a locker. The Off Road has a smaller differential in it.
