It’s live now and coverage areas are opening up.

I put my deposit down last February for a late 2021 delivery. Got notice a month or so ago it was delayed to Jan 2022 due to chip shortage.

Got my tracking number last week. My dish is currently in transit from Pittsburgh - Monday delivery :bananadance:.

@aggietaco placed an order on 1/5/22 and has an early to mid-2022 delivery estimate.

You’re welcome to come over and play

Hello guys, been awhile since I popped in here. Hope all is well with everyone with this covid crap.

It's official, gonna sell my retirement home, gonna buy another much smaller house about 20min South where I'm at now, still have boys in high school. With the farm, it's more land, less folks and neighbors, overall this allows me to capture the equity and build a house free and clear at this farm that I purchased back in 2020.

I'll probably get this for the farm as well.

Finally finished pulling the electrical wire for RV site at the farm, it now has full hook ups, 50amp, water, septic. And got rid of all stuff from around the tree.

Built a gravel pad with 23tons of caliche this past week, I bought a storage building and it should be delivered in the next week or so. I'm thinking of renting a roller/compactor and putting down about 200 to 300lbs of lime.

My DSL is about $55 -- good enough when comparing the cost.

I don't have enough data to go completely with my $65/mth hotspot so it would let me cut my expensive satellite TV cost out. Probably save me $100/mth.

We have a TV antenna, something happened 5-4 years ago and we no longer receive any stations. Never bothered to investigate - don't care . I have DVDs.

well, you probably still have an analog TV which needs a HD tuner converter Analog UHF/VHF went away…. About 5 years ago…. And now you need the digital converter box….but you really aren’t missing anything….

We operate on a $50/mo T-Mobile hot spot and streaming services now and it works well. Waiting for starlink to become available…but in typical Elon Musk fashion, its way behind

It is a fairly modern flat TV, I believe the actual tuner in the TV is bad.

I had the tuner boxes, about 10 of them actually, first with an analogue TV and them with this one. The tuner boxes were all junk, just what they would receive was all over the map and none of them lasted.

Yes I agree completely, not missing anything. :)

    What!?!?

I had an antenna when I had a place on the coast by the MA/NH border. Free HD (including 5.1 surround) that’s not reconstituted through a third party cable or satellite provider. It was the clearest pic I’ve ever had.

We got the major networks from Boston, Portland, and a scattering of others.

It’s the only thing I miss about the place.

I’m too rural to get anything now but anyone can check to see what channels they might get by going here:
    https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

If I got the channels I used to, I’d dump the dog that’s my Spectrum Cable. Supposedly HD that pixilates, freezes and goes black with a “Please Wait” message.

I'm way up on a mountain, in the good old days of analogue TV I could pick up 30+ stations mostly clear as cable.

So I'm feeling better but still not completely back to normal. Figured I better test my stamina before going back to work. I filled some holes in my field with the 3240 loader.

I changed my lift cylinder from a leaky 2.5" bore to a 2" a couple weeks ago. The calculators said I'd lose power but increase speed. I'm happy to say it still has all the power I should be applying to the GT, lifting a bucket full of wet dirt easily. I was a little woozy after getting done so I'm def feeling the effects of da Rona.

    Hey guys,

I am starting to look at getting a subcompact tractor for snowplowing and for working on my yard, and building a house extension. I would like the following: an enclosed cab, snowblade, bucket, and a backhoe.

What brands do you recommend for reliability and decent pricing? What specific models?

Any of the big names are good ones. There are so many models to choose from it’s hard to recommend one.

Sub-Compact class 0 and 00 3-point hitches come to mind... Might want to look at compact for the amount of work you'll be doing even consider rental instead. Just my $0.02
