Might we have a built in dash cam?

My big question for those of us who have a 2018 and up Tacoma is; do we have a built in dash cam? We have lane assist which uses a camera. Does this camera record video to a memory loop? If so can this video be downloaded? I suspect the answer is yes. Does anyone know? Is the lane assist video available after a wreck just as quite a bit of other data is? Is this lane assist video in the so called black box?

Does anyone here have the ability/knowledge to obtain the blackbox data to see if the lane assist video is included? Anyone on here have the ability to find out if the lane assist video is recorded?

The video is not obtainable using the current Bosch CDR tool and software

I don't know what is available on current infotainment accessing tools

I wonder if there is no recording of the video. That the lane departure camera box interprets what it “sees” so to speak then outputs code for such things as cross lane left, object in path and so forth. The box therefore does not store or send video anywhere.

However, would it not be the case that for a collision avoidance device to work it would need to interpret trends over a fairly short period of time? Therefore the device would indeed have a memory storage. I don’t know, my suspicion is there is video storage from the lane assist/collision avoidance camera.
