I sold my Multistrada and Super Adventure R last year and have been cleaning out the last of my riding gear. This XD-4 Vision is an XXL and is the lightest and nicest helmet I have ever owned. I have had Shoei's, HJCs, and few other entry level helmets and none fit my intermediate oval head as good as the Arai. I purchased this helmet new and have been the only one to wear it. I buy nice things and take care of my gear and you can get arguably the best Adventure Bike helmet, lightly used, for a fraction of what it would cost new. This brain bucket costs ~800 new when you figure in tax and shipping (if you can find one in your size); you can own the Ferrari of adventure bike helmets for half that price, all-in. I am listing this on Facebook Marketplaces as well and will entertain offers on a first come, first serve basis, with local buyers getting priority.

I shave my head and the liner is removable so you don't have to worry about hair products or creepy crawlies living in the helmet liner. If I were buying it, just for good measure I would remove the liner again and wash it (even though it is clean as is). The XD-4 has the removable cheek pads like other Arai models so if you are (God forbid) in a situation where the helmet needs to do its job and protect your grape, emergency responders can remove the cheek pads easier. I bought this helmet because my sunglasses fit comfortably behind the shield, and I have ridden all day without issue; I don't like carrying 2 or 3 shields then having to change them as it gets dark -- this should be a selling point if you have to wear corrective lenses when riding.

Item Details:

• Out of respect for your time I am starting with what is wrong with the helmet
• Structurally: nothing, the integrity of the shell and visor and chin strap are all like new
• Cosmetically: 2 issues, 1. a small crack in the left rear vent cover that I repaired with JB Plastic Weld (see pictures) 2. a few cosmetic scratches from when the helmet was in my Ducati's top case (these are only scratches to the graphics, none of these are gouges that go into the fiberglass shell).

- I took pictures in direct sunlight and under my dining room lights so you can see all the defects as clear as day, in person the nicks and the plastic weld are VERY hard to see up close and almost unnoticeable to a passerby.
