I have a 2006 Tacoma with a 3 inch suspension lift, that the steering wheel comes out of alignment with any average bump on a gravel road. I’ve been battling this issue for over a year. The truck has total chaos UCA and last week when in the shop for alignment had new inner and outer tie rod ends. Along inspection from the local mechanic, they said my rack and pinion was worn out, so it was replaced as well. When the steering wheel gets off, the truck still seems to drive straight the wheel is just crooked. It also seems to go to the exact same spot every time it gets thrown off. Any help would be appreciated. It’s been to two different shops to be aligned and they swear they can’t find anything wrong with it. Thanks for reading my post.
