    hey guys and girls.

i just bought this el096r leaf pack off craiglist. The nice man had it on his 3rd gen that had skids, rear swing out bumper, camer shell, etc. he didnt run it for too long and upgreaded.

i have the el095 leaf pack and when we load up to go camping i bottom out sometimes.

looking at this leaf pack that he gave me, it seems that it has a extra spring in there. the 3rd leaf. which would make it more heavy duty??

question is, did anyone run this leaf pack like that? with the extra leaf in there? sounds like its going to be pretty dang still.

    i have a 2015 4x4 with a camper shell and maybe 200lbs constant weight.

That is the first iteration of that spring, it's soft and prone to bending out not surprising you're bottoming out they kinda suck even the second iteration which I have now (you can tell the difference by the thickness of the leaf centering brackets) that I have on now aren't super fantastic. If he was running fully armoured up with gear etc they may just be worn out.

Edit: looks like you already have an extra leaf in there, in that case they're probably just abused 1st iterations and worn slap out.

You could try doing what I did on my 2md iteration OME leafs and take a leaf or two from your old pack and add it into the stack but as you can see below with weight on they're still nearly flattened out all though my truck is heavy.

Hammer Hangers will also help provide a little more lift with them but ultimately you (and I) need spec build leafs like Deavers.

You can see the wider centering clips a little better here:

Are you running shocks that are longer than factory with these? IIRC you should be.
