It's coming time that I consider getting into a half or 3/4 ton truck and need a realistic price point for a 2009 DCSB TRD Off Road 6 speed with 155000 miles on it. Run and drives highway great for being on E rated duratracs and loves the dirt. I was hoping to keep it forever and keep progressing it towards a dedicated off road machine but I may need to live out of a truck camper this summer since everyone is moving to Montana and forcing locals out of housing.

Has a very very slow power steering leak - maybe see the level change a tiny bit every 6 months. Next steps for me with it was going to be new leaf springs, new bump stops, gears, and powdercoat all armor.

6 speed - TRD Off Road package
    Locking rear diff
    Custom NWTI Bumpers
    URD Short throw shifter
    Badgeless
    Smittybilt 9500 lbs winch
    ToyTec 3” BOSS 2.0 lift
JBA upper control Arms - New upper ball joints Fall 2021
New OEM LCA, Napa Inner and Outter Tie rods - Fall 2021
    35” Duratracs
    TRD wheels with 1.25 Spidertrax
    Extended Stainless Steel brake lines
    All Pro Shackle Flip
    SOS off-road rock sliders
Rerouted air intake and diff. breathers
    CB radio/ hi-lift jack/ off-road accessories available
    Seat covers
    Soft topper
    New exhaust manifold gaskets
Oil and tires changed and rotated religiously
    ALL fluids done last summer.
    Plus whatever I’m forgetting

CLEAN history. No accidents, never wrecked.

Bumpers and sliders could use fresh coat of paint. Soft topper was $100 craigslist find and could use new back flap and has holes. Driver side door check missing but functions fine. Thanks for any and all thoughts!

A bone stock TRD Sport version of that used to be $17-18k pre COVID at 130k miles

so I imagine more than that if the frame is in decent shape

manual off road 4x4 it doesn’t get much better than that

I was wondering when people would catch onto Montana. Lot of people moved to CO.
Year ago Montana seemed like not just a better version of CO nature wise, but still untouched in the way that the large amount of people moving to CO created a ton of traffic and made landlords think they could double rent on a landlocked geographical location that was still 1-6hr away from the nearest good mountain

Frame is pretty clean compared to most. Its tough to tell how KBB estimates stake up in this day and age. Thanks

Nice rig, I bought my 2009 TRD sport 6MT in Bozeman this past summer for 17000. 18700 miles with an OME lift, UCA's and a topper. I bet you could get $23,000 to $25,000 or upwards in Montana for that thing. That is just a guess though. I would consider if I could afford it.

I was curious if that was where the upper end of the spectrum was. Seems like the market for everything right now is crazy, even for an 12 year old truck. That sounds like you got a sweet deal for Bozeman though. Inventory seems to be pretty hit or miss at every dealership in town!

oh yeah I forgot that old price was in a non 4x4 state

4x4 states like CO, UT, PNW area, MT etc put higher value on it of at least a couple g’s
