    ...^^^... Today ... I fixed a simple summer-type big lunch.

Smoked wild-caught AK salmon, on a toasted Crazy Dave's bun (instead of a bagel), with cream cheese, capers, slice of purple onion and tomato with Montreal seasoning and pepper .... add some sides of stuffed olives, mini-tomatoes, avocado and thick-cut chips and coffee ... :hungry:

It was awesome. I linked the recipe. I used anchovy paste, and omitted the worchestershire cause I didn’t have it. Also, just some diced onions, couldn’t find pearl onions.

 looks great! Did you end up using anchovies? I've never heard of that being a thing in beef stew.

Hands down my favorite Italian soup.

Me either. I used anchovy paste since I had it on hand.

It’s just about the umami-ness it gives it. Great recipe!

Nice, I'll give that recipe a shot next week. I've been craving a good beef stew for a while. Thanks for the link

Looks great! I always have good luck with Kenji's stuff, either from the Food Lab or from the serious eats website. What cut did you wind up going with?
