i bought some led turn signal bulbs for my taillights and wanted to get rid of the hyperflash without cutting wires with resistors. So I bought the led flasher relay from advanced auto, and now when I lock or unlock the doors the the lights don't flash.everything worked before relay replacement, just had hyperflash. Anyone know of a reason why? Or is the relay I got bad? Or something I can check. Please and thank you for any advice.

Yes. They have been for a few years. And I've had led turn signals in the rear for awhile also. Just changed bulbs. Also tried the older bulbs with same results.

I had the stock tails that I had cut resistors in, but one got broke in the snow. So I replaced the pair of tails and don't want to cut the stock wires like I did before.

If all worked "fine" before the relay change, I'd say it's the new relay.

pretty much what im figuring. Any suggestion on a Relay brand that should work? After pulling relay to look at brand and part# i found a lot of reviews that say this one takes away the flash on locking. Its not a big deal but it is nice since i dont have the alarm in my truck and would be nice to see that the doors locked when button is pressed.

the one i have is the Novita LM449 LED/2-4lamps. only one advance had.
