I got my tacoma last year and i've been looking into upgrading the suspension, also want to run bigger tires. went to my local shop that specializes in modifications for toyota's and they recommended me the toytec boss aluma series. Anyone have any opinions on them or possibly something better my budget is in the 3500-4000 max range. Also I go overlanding but don't do anything hardcore

Go with the 2.5 with or without the resi. Replace the stock leaf pack, jba, spc or other UCA. With that budget your going to be good. If you want more info just call toytec in Denver and they will give you all the info you need. Some say the boss are very close to kings.

I’ve had the Alumas on my 3rd gen 4Runner for about a year now and they are fantastic. They are made by Elka for Toytec and very high quality and fully rebuildable.
