    Hi all,

I bought these headlights from another member on this forum (I'll link the original post below) but ending up selling my truck because I needed more cabin space. The headlights are in very good condition and I'll post some pictures of when they were on my truck. Light output is amazing and a huge upgrade from the factory projectors.

    Original posting:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/sold-sr-sr5-bhlm-retrofitted-headlights-price-drop.707005/

For Sale: OEM SR/SR5 headlight retrofits, all mounting tabs intact. Pictures of the low beam cutoff/hot spot and high beam are below. These are a proper HID retrofit, resealed with Morimoto retro rubber.

    Retrofit includes:
    • BHLM - Flat black
    • RX-350 projectors with STi-R clear lens upgrade
    • Profile switchback halos
    • Smoked side markers.
The sale includes everything necessary for an HID retrofit.
    • Generic 5000k D2S bulbs
    • H9 battery relay (brand new from TRS)
    • Morimoto 35w ballasts
    • D2S igniters
    • OEM High Beam, DRL/Turn Signal and Marker lights
The only thing not included are the high beam splitters. These are bi-xenon projectors, so separate high beams aren't necessary.

Asking $old Local in southern california. I'd prefer not to ship but am open it to it.

Really like these but not knowledgeable at all with retros and such…what kind of job would “high beam splitters” consist of? Is it even required technically or is it more of a preference/add on?? TIA.

What it means is if you’d like to use the single projector as both high and low beams, you’ll need to either find a way to split the signal from the factor high beam harness and connect it to the wires that activates the high beam for the retrofit.

Theres a few ways to go about this. You can leave as is and use your normal high beams as high beams or tap into existing harness to use both and finally, just disconnecting the high beam harness, tapping the wires and using high beams from the projector.

Alternatively, there exists a harness splitter (search h11 splitter) where it takes one signal and splits it into two. On one end, you’ll still need to hardwire to the projector but the other end can either be used on the factory high beam (if you so choose).

I know this probably makes it sound way more complicated than it is but it’s really not when you are actually working on it. if I can find a visual diagram I’ll post another reply.

ahhh okay, so essentially I don’t HAVE to hook the harness up. I could plug and play and still get a high beam?

Yes. You would just put your high beam bulbs exactly where they belong in the socket and they would function as they should.

Depending on whether you have an sr5 or the models with led Drl, you have different options to connect to the halo lights.
