I just got 10" pipes from Home Depot like Rusty said. I have a low profile transmission jack that I used to lift the tank then unscrewed 2 of the legs with vice grips and replaced them. The other two I couldn't get to budge so I cut off the rusted out area and made a brick platform under those legs so the tank would sit level.

Very good point about rusting from the inside. I did pull the top pipe and took a look inside mine to make sure it was OK in there. My issue was water in the basement caused the legs to rust before the rest of the tank.

I'm getting tired of both. I said to myself last night, "I am not gong to shovel the driveway again." But, I had to this morning. No more shoveling.:censored:

With mowing at least you can get a really nice enjoyable to use mower.

Said nobody ever "...this snow shovel is really nice to use..." (to move 5 tons of :censored: snow)

As a motorcycle owner and enthusiast snow is NOT something I want.....ever.

Snow is an acronym meaning Shit No One Wants.

They're not for everybody and I'd never try to convince someone they are. For me it's more of a way of life bordering on an addiction.....LOL. Not in a harmful or bad way just ever since my first one I've never NOT had a bike in my garage. 3 currently.

More power to you, follow your passion!

I admire (and maybe even envy) them but also have an understanding of my abilities -- 4 wheels for me.

I had to take the dog for a walk. We went to the township park, to avoid the cinder and ash they use on the roads. Bad idea. The snow was high, too high. We finally had to walk where the plow truck had made its turn around the parking lot, after plowing the road that leads into the park.

Glad to have the tank inside in this house. They are almost immortal once they are inside and no freezing issues which I had in the old shack where the tank was outside.
Oh, and mine is up on a four ft. ledge where it does not get wet when I get three feet of water in the basement! :)

    Afternoon folks! :hattip:

Got the beater to the new house today. Effectively lowered everybody's property value within a three mile radius

I was outside when the neighbors behind me pulled in. They turned their heads and stared at it in utter disgust, was a hilarious sight

I'll be digging out my car cover so they won't have to look at it until I get that carport enclosed. However it'll be a landmark for the new oil company. They have been getting all confused on the address. Finally told them the house with the little white car under the carport

Beater? That thing looks like a new Lexus compared to everyone of the vehicles my neighbor has dragged into his driveway and yard over the last 3 years or so, probably about 8 - 5 of which are still scattered like a junk yard. I would welcome that looking out my window.

Just start it for them tonight. I am assuming it’s “stock”. They will love it. I feel like I need to get another toy car soon. All my neighbors have their garage queens they like to start and pull out of the garage let it idle for a while then back inside till the next sunny day.
