I'm telling you... those AXS drop bar brakes/shifters are impossible to come by. I've got a few hundred miles on my Rival/Force AXS XPLR group on my gravel bike and the setup was worth the ~4 month wait.

 

Good reminder to always have spare hangers.
I pretty much always have one with me for off road rides.

 

Nice! I ordered back in August so it was right around the 5 month mark for me. I’m going with the 10-50 Eagle cassette, which is the last part I’m waiting for. XPLR came out right after I ordered haha. Can’t wait to finish the build.

I’m definitely planning on getting a few extras to keep on me. Also don’t plan on riding without my multi-tool again

 

Glad to hear it’s worth it…I’d like to upgrade my gravel bike to AXS at some point

I picked up a Gen2 Shorty for some spring schralping and it's got a big ol wobble in it. Maxxis I am disappoint.

 

That's the one downside of my Pipedream Sirius. The Hanger is built into the dropout plate. So the "derailleur hangar" is a 1/4" piece of steel the size of a playing card. Upside is it prob wont break, downside is its a PITA to carry a spare on rides.

 

Just send them a message. That's happened to me a few times and they always send me a new tire, no questions asked.

 

I'm really curious about that stream you pedal over for the Flying Dog loop every time I ride by it. Plus the beaver ponds maybe.

Wasnt in need of new tires for a little while, but when you trip over a matching pair of your favorites in stock at a local bike shop these days, you buy them anyway.

 

I run those as a front tire. Great choice.
