I hope that whatever special mojo Jimmy G. generates when the team is up against the wall will show up more often than not against the Rams. If the defense and special teams don’t show up like they did in GB, and I wouldn’t expect a repeat performance, then a larger percentage of the game’s outcome is going to fall on Jimmy’s shoulders which doesn’t give me a great deal of confidence. But it’s who the Niners have at starting QB and they’re the team I’ve rooted for since 1982 , so I’ll stop criticizing his play until the playoffs are over.

 

I mean, considering his thumb being tapped on. You might have to cut him some slack. You are more than welcome to come dig Carson Wentz out of the garbage outside Lucas Oil stadium if you like.

late to the conversation, but man what a game. Really wanted Buffalo to win this one. The Bills defense was gassed by the end of the game, and couldn't stop the Chiefs from scoring. Bills vs Rams would have been a great Super Bowl. I get tired of seeing the same teams year in and year out. Also glad to see Brady and the Bucs loose their game. How many rings does Brady need before he retires. If the Bengals have any hope of beating the Chiefs, they had better bring their "A" game next weekend.

 

It doesn’t affect his leadership anyway. There were some dropped passes including a possible TD but he didn’t mention them.

 

What’s worse than living in Buffalo? Living in Buffalo after they lose a big game. All you hear is how the overtime rule should be changed, that’s gonna be the talk until next year.


Reality is if they played defense with 13 seconds left in the game and didn’t give up 45 yards, they wouldn’t of been in this predicament right now

Though to be fair KC pisses me off too in this example. Reid chirped up a storm in 2018 about the overtime rule and yet you don't hear anything about it this week since it worked in his favour..

 

Yup, it's not a good idea to play that "prevent defense" against the Chefs trying to "prevent" the long ball. Our speedsters can get 0-25yds right now. Hill, Hardman are almost equally fast, Edwards-Helaire, and the new kid, McKinnon are just a step behind. Kelsey can get up and go for a big man.

I'm still feeling a bit sorry for the Bills. As I said earlier, except for the 13 secs brain fart, they were just victimized like we were to Brady in '18. But, paybacks can be hell. If they can keep the core together and healthy, I expect more grandeur from them soon probably at our expense.

And then, last night, our Jayhawks went to double overtime with Texas Tech. Anyone got a qualude I can borrow?
