Up for sale is a long discontinued Solo Motorsports 2” Long Travel kit. If you want to get into Long travel for the least amount of money, aside from fab’ing your own kit, this is it. A little background on this kit, Solo Motorsports did a limited run of 2+ kits for an overland group back in the day. Shortly before taking delivery of these kits, the group cancelled their partnership and Solo sold off the kits at a reasonable discount. This is one of those kits. I bought it off another member on here who ran it on his truck, so the kit has been used and proven. I was intending to run this kit myself and had brand new Delrin bushings and Uniball joints installed on the upper and lower arms. The powder coat can use some touching up in places, but other than that, this kit is ready for installation. Only reason I will not is because I got a promotion at work, and can now afford the extra premium of a brand new kit.

    What’s included:
    • 2” over upper control arms
    • 2” lower control arms
    • Hardware such as fasteners, uniball adapters, spindle adaptors
    • Brand new steel-braided extended front brake lines and line hardware.
    • 2” tie-rod extensions.
    • Proprietary coilover mounting plates.
    • 1x spare 2+ axle shaft for a Tacoma.
    What’s not included:
    • Complete axles. If you’re 4WD, you will need to come up with your own axle solution. I’d recommend CVJ axles.
    • LT coilovers. This kit was designed around a King 2.5x8 long travel coilover and will require a 2” rod end and raised spring seat if you’re 4WD.
    • Limit straps. I recommend 8” straps with an adjustable clevis.
Asking price is $2,000 picked up, buyer pays shipping. Located in Mira Loma, CA. Local picked up preferred, but we can talk about shipping.

Bump, price is negotiable. Going long travel isn’t a cheap game, but I would like to help someone out with a deal here if someone’s serious about it.

That I have no idea. I thought the mounting points and the spindles were different, so no idea if the arms have the same geometry. Good question.

You'd have to cut all the mounting points off of the upper frame and maybe even the lowers.

Well there you have it. I haven’t heard of many kits that fit 2nd gen 5 lugs. I thought TC made one? I could be wrong though.
