Removed from my 2021 SR5 4x4 with 6 miles when I had the dealer installed TRD lift done. As the lift is 2" higher than stock 4x4 this was replaced with a new unit. This is for STOCK HEIGHT ONLY 4X4S, SR5, SPORT or OFF ROAD. NO PRO! These are $375 new from Toyota so if you're rebuilding a crash truck, this may be for you.

    Sacrifice for $150 obo.

This is small enough I could put it a USPS Priority Flat Rate box for $8.

Local pickup in Phoenix (Surprise) is also welcomed.

    Thanks for looking all!

I'm sure you all know but this is for your Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

Maybe wrong on this, but don't all Tacomas have the same exact part for the radar sensor?

OP, sounds like your new one is identical to your old one, but recalibrated (which can be done with the factory-installed one, I believe).

Dunno for sure but if so why would they include a new one in the kit and take the time to install and adjust the new one. Mechanic said that's the hardest part of the install as the rest is just installing 5100s, a lift block and grill.

Mine was done at delivery of truck so it would have been no benefit to them to create more work for themselves as I paid a straight $2k for the kit installed.

Maybe the recalibration can only be done at the factory.

Well, one benefit would be charging you for labor that wasn't necessary:rofl:

Nonetheless, some on here have installed their own lift and then gone into the dealership to get their original sensor adjusted (recalibrated) for the new ride height.

Honestly, I lifted 2.5" and added 33's without calibrating and it still works good as new.

Did not know there was an option for recalibrating...

Yeah don't know. Maybe it's something Toyota has to do for DOT certification.

Remember, the radar is looking ahead down the road, so a small change in ride height shouldn't affect it theoretically. Supposedly, if it's within a certain range, it'll stay within spec. More than 2-3" of lift would change the angles of the radar enough that it may cause the sensor to alert the driver to a malfunction--that's when you'll see a message to "see the dealer" to recalibrate.

This is exactly what I was thinking reading this. 3" in front, 4" in rear, 33s, and some crap knockoff Faux Pro grille with an equally crap knockoff TSS garnish.

I use adaptive cruise daily and it all works flawlessly. Guess I got incredibly lucky.

    In any case: GLWS, op!

I never changed mine out following the lift and change to 33” skinnies.
