i have a heated blanket on my bed which they’ve taken over. Don’t think there’s a chance in hell I’ll ever claim that territory back unless I close the door in which case I’ll likely hear wining and pawing at the door all night

 

We have a heated throw that's thick and soft. Intended for me as I recovered from one if my 3 lumbar surgeries, quickly taken over by King Wallace. We don't use it much anymore but of course, it's on our bed all crumpled up on medium heat with the King in the center!

We also have one from Amazon that is a designated pet warmer. It's under a pad and soft cover and that's what Gromit sleeps on because he has less discriminating taste.

Back in 2014, we almost lost Wallace to a botched Vet procedure and he was in the ER for over 5 days. After his surgery, he always ran cold and you could feel it in him. He really worships the sunspots and blankets and I'm more than happy to provide it for him considering what he went through.

Just want to pick that little cutie up and hug her. I bet she’s going to be a sweet cat.

 

She is definitely one of the quickest to become trusting of us and friendly. I was petting one of the ones that's older today and it's weird at the end of his tail there's a little bent part. I mentioned this and the wife said a few of them have that bend. One of our inside cats has that and I always assume it was a past injury.

Sounds genetic. I know it’s a trait in Siamese that has been breed out over the last several years to make them more desirable. Every so often the recessive gene pops out and ones born with a kinked tail. Unfortunately these end up being part of the system as they’re not sellable by breeders. That’s how we ended up with amos. Sweetest big boy, kinked tail and all.
