There will still be plenty of action out of my truck. Buddy of mine says he wants to find a jump big enough for me to jump over him on his 3wheeler.

Our family friend's compound is a blast. Some stuff from last year. He bought a second Cab over truck too.. so hoping we can cruise around Hammertown in these bad boys.

Anyone out there epoxied their own garage before? Any recommendations or things to watch out for? Product recommendations? I've watched a few videos but there seem to be a ton of different products out there!

We did mine at our new house. AS far as product recommendations go I don't really have any, we just used a basic kit from Homedepot. I'm sure there are better but it was a fast drying kit. what i can tell you is all the work is in cleaning and prep. We spent around 9 hours prepping the garage. We ended up using 2 gallons of "Purple Power Driveway Cleaner" its was horribly stained with oil and gunk. The actual application was extremally easy similar to painting a wall. I was told the better its cleaned the better it will turn out.

I did mine with the home depot kit aswell. And yes prep and cleaning is a must. Takes most of the time. I did mine over I think 3 days from start to finish. (moving everything out to moving it all back in) I rented one of those storage containers they drop at your house to store everything in while I was doing it. But just like Ross4x4 said. After prep its basically just like painting a wall.

Armorseal 8100 from Sherwin Williams. I was looking in to doing mine recently and this is what my friend recommended. He used it for his works grow room. Just need to do a decent enough sweep and mop, then lay down 2 coats and youre good to go. Don't waste time with the shitty home depot kits

How much did that cost? I would need 6 gallons for my garage and what I can see from ebay that would be around $900... If youre spending that much you would probably want to sand and primer your floors not just a simple sweep and mop:rofl:

Well don't buy it from ebay lol. How big is your garage? I got a 2 car plus a little extra length on one side, probably needed 2-3 gallons. Couple hundred bucks. But that shit is heavy duty and meant to last. No need to sand and prime with this stuff. The kit from HD will eventually start to chip everywhere then you gotta strip and do it all again. Might as well spend a little more and get some good shit on there that will last.

Depends on how long you want to keep the house for tho. But I agree. I would splurge on the good shit in my current house. But my last house was a flipper I was only in for 2 years. So the chipping didnt happen by the time I sold and now its the other guys problem. That was a small 2 car garage and took me just under 2 gallons. I went ahead and just layered more in to finish off the second gallon rather than throw it away.

No public listing for the price from SW only place I could find it was from ebay, what do they sell it at per gallon? I have a 3 car garage around 800-900 sqft we used somewhere around 4 gallons. If you dont want to worry about chips and peeling down the line might as well just use Polyurea. With a good application of 2 part epoxy its suppose to last at least 5 years, Polyurea is suppose to last like 15
