Hey all, planning on draining and filling the diff fluid in my Taco. I'm not sure if my truck has a lsd. Whenever I press and hold traction control off it'll pop up the auto lsd on the dash if that helps. Any specific fluid to use? I was going to use the Valvoline 75-90 full synthetic with the limited slip additive. What do you guys recommend? Do I still need to add a friction modifier? Thanks in advance.

If you have the auto LSD then you don't have a mechanical LSD in the rear diff so you don't need an LSD additive, it's not gona hurt anything if you do put the additive in but id doesn't need it.

Prices on full synthetic 75w90 are kind of interesting. I have been running Mobil Delvac 75W90 and this post made me curious if Supertech is any cheaper, but really when you compare it's only about a buck or two difference per gallon.

    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mob-122035-1 = $35.99/gal or $8.99/qt

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Full-Synthetic-Gear-Lubricant-SAE-75W-90-1-Quart/309470123 = $8.54/qt

If WM sold their stuff by the gallon it would probably be cheaper but it looks like Supertech only comes in quart bottles.
