I gotta drain and fill my break in fluid. 4.88 so far feels much better. I averaged 16-17ish mpg over the break in. The boost in mpg was definitely a up side.

From my understanding, your problem is called "shift flare" and is entirely normal on the A750 auto trans in our trucks...to a point. When you've altered the OEM parameters, you gotta make the proper adjustments. A tranny tune from Justin (justDSM) is a great starting point but there's every reason in the world to get those 3.73 gears outta there on 35's!

No doubt! When I keep mine around 60mph (speed limit here is 55) I’ll pull 17 on 37’s. Not like MPG’s should be a huge concern with these things but it is nice.

I think it's less about mpg but miles per tank, if I can go farther on a single fill up it's a win.

When I was on 33’s and stock gearing I usually pulled 240-250 on a tank. I’ve seen 280 on an all highway trip with the 37’s minding my RPM’s. That’s filling up before the light.

Yeah speed limits here in Utah are 80 and cars are going like 90. I’m doing 70 with the semi’s thinking like damn I feel slow.

I wish I could get that on my truck. I just did 4.56's on 33's and typically cruise a 2k going 70 on the way to and from work. I'm lucky to get 14 mpg with minimal extra weight.

Lol I ended up pulling one of those off the grid rental tear drop trailers back to SoCal from one of the Moab trips through TW. Friend was having truck issues and didn’t want late fees. So odd to see semi trucks pass me at 80 while I’m trying to lug up a grade.

Yeah, I'm doing gears before big tires. Problem is I'm on the fence between Harrop E-Locker or ARB Air locker. If I go air locker its gonna be run off of a ViAir 400P Auto.

If I were to do it over again I would do e lockers because the air are prone to leaking internally (and at the lines too of course).

I have the worst time getting my factory rear to disengage after a steep climb. Front is way quicker, but it likes to puke and I don’t care enough to drain whatever ECGS told me to drain.

The harrop e locker is different style than oem second gen which have engagement issues. It’s more like the third gen, which from what I understand engages pretty easily.

E-lockers have weaker lock up mechanism, the rolling to engage or disengage reminds me of the stupid 90s auto locking hubs. That stuff is old. Jeep keeps mechanical locker in the front and spool in the rear. Taco will get either a 40 spline mechanical locker in the rear or an ARB comp 40 spline and keeping the ARB.

Elockers can still fail internally just like the ARB bad thing is the repair isn't a $5 O-ring.

ARB were designed to lock up in the strongest position possible. They are very course tooth while others are fine tooth. ARB did have issues with the seals a while back but from what ive heard that has been fixed. Iv not once had and issue with either of my lockers. Id run ARB's now until the day i die. Id probably change out a factory locker in another truck for the air locker its just so easy and can be turned on independently of one another and you don't have to be in 4wd to lock it up.

Pretty much everyone I know with an air locker has one that leaks to some degree. My compressor has to cycle every 30 seconds or so to maintain pressure, and I know for a fact it’s an internal leak. Doesn’t cause it to unlock or anything but is a mild nuisance that I hope doesn’t get worse.

That's really strange, I've never had an issue with either of mine. Might be a fault in the install then. Not that the install was bad just that maybe something was slightly so off that cause it to leak inside. If its not bad and isn't getting worse i wouldn't be worried. But I've never had and issue like that so i really cant speak to it.

They are finicky for install which is where I think most leaks derive from is the seal gets pinched or rolled, or something to damage it ever so slightly causing the leak. From what I've seen it won't get worse. I've wheeled with guys whose ARBs had been doing that for years. It does get annoying.
