Hey TW, I've been experiencing issues with my 2017 Taco Off-Road. The issue I've been experiencing is the truck jerking when I'm turning from a light making a wide turn. It only happens the first drive of the day (usually when I'm going to work) and the truck only does it once a day. I do have have 33'' tires, a lift kit was added and 70k miles on it but the truck was doing this before those modifications were completed. There's probably a thread for this but I couldn't find one.

Check the power steering fluid, it should be clear.

If your power steering fluid is dark try sucking as much fluid out of the reservoir as possible (use a turkey baster) and replace it with fresh. You only get a percentage of the fluid out obviously, but if you do it several times over the course of a week or two you can get most of it.

I have done this with many older vehicles with good results, might help, can't hurt and doesn't cost much to do. Let us know what you find out.

I have had my extractor for about 25 years, older automatic transmissions didn't have a drain plug, this makes it almost convenient - pull the fluid first then remove the pan. Very handy for servicing garden tractors and the such too.

Any unusual noises accompanied with the jerking like something is binding?

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll defit. change the steering fluid and I'm going to change the front and back diff. fluid to see if there's huge chunks of metal debris in it. @PThy no theres no noise at all when it happens. I'll try to post a video of problem maybe it will help explain the situation better. I will update when I can.
