Yes there is. It is before the ball bearing and add tube.

I accounted for all the rollers when I did the bushing years ago. The diff was recently regeared by a shop. My assumption is the Inner needle bearing was damaged during reinstall or break in.

Well shit...we were supposed to leave last night, camp on the way and roll in today. Instead, I'm re-packing my bags to head to the Least Coast. Catch you guys at the next one or SanG if that miraculously comes off. Have fun kids!

Oh yeah the one before the side shaft, I forgot about that one on the other side of the actual diff. Well that sucks!

I picked up a pallet of doors from a freight delivery this morning. 1 mile round trip & I was making vroom vroom noises the whole time. That's as close to Superstition as we'll get this year :bananadead:

On my way to the shop that did the regear. I’m hoping it’s a quick fix and reseal with no damage to the ring and pinion. If that’s the case I’ll head out tonight if not first thing in the morning.

Ok I finally got the Jeep loaded with firewood, what a pain! Had to grab loads with the tractor and move it twice. Oh well at least we will have a little more wood out there, then I was able to load the 500 behind it. So that being said Im taking way longer than expected, just gonna eat some food and head out.

I think I’m the first one here.

I don’t see any other Tacomas yet, and am not sure exactly where our campsite will be. So I’m going to chill and watch the awesome air show. :oldglory:

I’m on 151.880 when you all start to arrive.

It's just past the bend in the road on the left. There's part of an old metal sign post sticking up, follow that up in between the two dunes. Definitely a great air show!

So mystery of the day, passenger side needles all remained fine. The driver side needle bearing was removed years ago, I’m certain I didn’t lose any in the case.

It was completely opened for a regear. Maybe something fell in from tools? Who knows. Ring had no visible damage. Closing her back up and I gotta get home to pack up.

I’ll be there late tonight. I probably won’t leave OC until around 7 or 8 I’m guessing.
