I always handle these questions assuming not everyone wants to rip up their brand new truck and DIY everything with no warranty coverage, but if you're handy and brave enough, this is a valid option! Not for me though

I'm in the same boat. I'm in line for a Pro at Mark Miller in SLC. Good luck with your selections. I prefer a M/T, but if I didn't I would absolutely get the LB.

    See you around town!

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I would like to say. I have a sport that I bought in 07. Unless you are planning on buying books on 4x4 trails around your state you do NOT need the off-road package. In 270 thousand miles I might have needed the locker less then 6 times. And I camp and 4x4 almost weekly. The sport is fine, easier to get, and its cheaper plus has hood scoop!!+++

I would just look at all of them in this particular segment and see which one you like the most. Then get that one

Hi Neighbor! I'm going through MM, in SLC as well. The stealership closer to me was charging 2k over MSRP for trucks not even on their lot. The sales manager at MM informed me that they do NOT add mandatory options or markups, although I'm curious if you got the same assurances with your Pro, given the availability. I'm curious, what ETA did they give you? Did you work with Spencer?

I’m the same. My 19 was a long bed, 22 a short bed. After owning the long bed, I realized I don’t need a bed that long. It’s easier to navigate parking lots, flipping u turns, etc. Skip the bed lights and install aftermarket. I put in aftermarket plug and play in from eBay, less than $20.

Welcome to TW. I've never checked it out, but there's a Utah thread where you might get some valuable location specific info.

When you take those garage measurements you'll want to measure for height as well so you don't have a conflict between your planned lift & a garage door opener or light fixture.

And if you're building your configuration online, be aware that the price you're seeing may not reflect the reality of what many dealers are currently charging. It's a jungle out there.

Oh wow, I gave you BAD advice. If your in Utah you definitely want the locker.. I recently moved back to Colorado and am selling my 07 sport simply because it "does not" have a locker... trust me.. you will hate a truck without a locker living in utah.. constantly "going around" the obstacles

Not that it's much in the grand scheme of things, but you can save yourself a few hundred dollars by getting both of these from Amazon.

Working with Greg Rolfe, he has been very helpful. I put down a refundable $500 deposit in August. I told them I wanted a Pro.....they said that would take a long time, then I told them it had to have a manual trans, they said that would take even longer. They guessed Easter. I spoke with Greg last week and he said that in our region there are currently NO Pro allocations, so the original estimate of Easter was pretty optimistic. I'm guessing May at this point. My deal was for MSRP because it is a Pro, at the time I made my deposit, the were writing up other models at MSRP minus $500. They can help with changes to port added options, but the factory installed options you will be stuck with. There are a lot of threads on the allocation/order process that describe the crazy Toyota process. See you around town.
