    Wow!
Just put Michelins on one last spring-good for 70k they say. We'll see. Newer one is due, so might be a fun option. Are they noisy? Yours aren't on yet but assuming you looked at reviews etc....

The guys in this thread have nothing but good things to say and are a large part of the reason why I pulled the trigger. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/maxxis-razr-at-in-e-and-sl.687907/ the consensus seems to be they are noisier than stock tires but by no means bad.

You read my mind! Initially I was planning on it, but was going to ask here first if it was worth it or I should just wait to see if I had any vibration. To that end does anyone in the MKE/Racine area have the tools? I was just gonna spin up an installation tool at work if not.

Agreed, I figure the whole process will take an afternoon-ish. Maybe a bit longer with a few beers and just enjoying the process depending on the weather.

Might as well long as everything is pulled apart.

I have the removal tool. I can bring it tomorrow if your joining. Just keep it until you're done and then I'll get it from you at some point.

Sounds good. See you tomorrow. Excited to see the supercharger and rear suspension in action.

Everybody is in such a hurry when installing these things. Savor the experience, smell the flowers…what’s the rush? I took two whole days to do my 4runner. Don’t sell yourself short on the experience @Camerasandcoffee.

I’m imagining a driveway tech day. With jstemp as a supervisor beating the drum, he could probably get 5 or 6 of us at once to finish the ECGS bearing, in an hour flat!

I've seen full suspensions knocked out in under 2 hours, I've seen one truck take 3 months to put a suspension on

My second ever mod day with the STL crowd, I think we did four complete suspensions on four 4Runners simultaneously. Two in the shed and two in the driveway. Had like 12 guys just going at it and still had other people looming around drooling on trucks, talking shit, and ordering pizza. And if memory serves two tacos got lighting upgrades On the same day as well.

I actually just watched a vijeo of a mechanic installing the ECGS bushing in 30 minutes. Granted he already had the truck on the lift.
Speaking of, does anyone have a recommendation for taller jack stands?

It's not too difficult once you know the process. Definitely easier than replacing the wheel bearing on my wife's Patriot. That required a 25 min trip to work to use a hydraulic press and a ton of time fixturing it up.:frusty:

Chrysler wheel bearings, steering knuckles, and pretty much anything associated with their IFS is just freaking awful

As far as jack stands go... Not harbor freight :D

Not sure how tall you are looking for but I bought a set of these and was so satisfied with them, especially for the price, that I bought another set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074R17GL4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
