Yeah seems like no biggie. Read that leaving some of the lines where they are and just taking the bags out will keep you from getting codes, so just throwing a Dobinsons kit on it sounds like a good idea. We got snow, but I think I might head over to look at it today.

Wait ... Are you telling me Take Me Home, Country Roads was almost about Massachusetts?

My mom was obsessed with John Denver when I was a kid, I remember the day he died in that plane crash vividly because she was a wreck all day.

When my little brother and I were kids our grandparents in MO would always let us get something from Wally World (only big store in town) when we visited. Of course we always went for the Nerf guns. Eventually I'd always give him a beat down and he cry or we'd break something of theirs, so after a few years the zero tolerance No Nerf Guns Law went into full effect. It probably still stands to this day

Yep.. Sorry to burst a bubble. LOL. And the guy and his GF that started writing the song later formed the Starland Vocal Band.

Then they recorded this song almost as a joke and put it on an album with other songs just to fill in.

Then it topped the charts and they became typecast over a song that they really didn't like.

Strange things happen in the music business.

Their forced smiles in that video shows how pissed they are that they had to make a music video for this song

I'm assuming, given the time period, the song was already a chart topper before this was recorded. I imagine "music videos" weren't really a thing yet?

With my brother stationed in Vegas I could actually make it out to something in the West. But who knows if he’ll be done with training or available. And I know you guys need to keep the group small-ish. Large groups suck.

Large groups do suck but I'll preface by saying this; those mentioned above have often wheeled in groups with others and understand proper etiquette and are responsible enough to know what's expected.

Some of those I've wheeled with personally.

I trust that our group will remain manageable even if it had another truck or two more than expected.

Also, Hollister Hills was mentioned because logistics would be far simpler. It's a large OHV park with many camping spots right on site. It would be easy as we'll have a "home base" and can take off wheeling from that very spot.

That would be doable for me esp since it's near my mom's place, my wife and daughter can come up too and stay with her and make a visit of it.

But I'm open to other suggestions too if there's some place that's better for the group as a whole
