push bars on 18's

I heard you cannot install push bars on the 18's because of the radar in the Toyota logo. True? False? If false what type push bar can be installed.

My CBI Pushbar did NOT interfere at all with the TSS.

 

As long as the bar doesn’t cover the TSS you should be ok

False. I got the avid bumper guard. Check my profile pic. I also had the sensor recall done by the dealer without any issue. Cheers.

IS a CBI a local/regional supplier of what you have? I am I the Northeast.

 

I made mine and the radar works fine.

 

I installed this and my TSS-P still works as normal, so I doubt a push bar will interfere with it, unless it covers the actual sensor.

Garmin2019, how did you mount your front license plate?

 

I have a 2021 with a push bar. I re-located the radar from the round Toyota logo to the bottom when I replaced the grille. By moving it, it isn't the push bar (see image below):
