    09 Tacoma 4x4 access cab
Hello Everyone: I have been looking to purchase a replacement for my old trusty 25 year old Dodge Dakota with over 300,000 original miles still on the road by the way!!. After a ton of research I new I wanted a Tacoma and, I new it had to be a gen 2 because! of their track record for proven longevity. I was about to give up hope of finding a decent low mileage 2nd gen. Taco. When I spotted what turned out to be a literally like new mint condition 2009 access cab 4x4 auto single owner with less than 37,000 miles yes you read that right!! for $20K New frame, suspension and basically everything underneath even the half shafts lines and tires I showed up out of the blue I looked at with a flashlight and knowing instantly I would be an idiot for letting this go I held it for 200 bucks, test drove it a few days later for a couple miles and bought it. I originally wanted a 2015 due to being a best year for that generation and test drove a full size cab model but to big a truck for me and prices around here have sky rocketed. I could not justify it especially when most are 125K or higher in mileage and over $25K asking price. I know now days 2009 seems ancient but trust me coming from a 25 year old Dodge this is a nice improvement (not) night and day but a really nice step up. I fluid filmed almost everything and replaced all the fluids and filters with OEM, replaced the stock radio and the interior got some new Philips led bulbs. I am looking foreword to enjoying owning a legend and getting to meet some new people. Thank You

Welcome to TW! A 2009 may be old but only 37,000 miles? Basically brand new! Nice find.
