    Hi All,

I picked up a used CB for 15.00. It came with a power cord, but I have no electronic experience. The last CB shop I used closed down, and the other CB told me to call an audio place that charges 125.00. I found someone that would charge me 80.00 which is insane as I all I need is to connect to power only. I’m in Central Broward, so I am open to ideas.

Connect red wire to + on the battery(make sure you have an inline fuse). Connect black wire to - side of battery. Connect antenna wire to unit....done. Am I missing anything?

I don’t think my cables will reach the battery. Trying to find a way to connect to fuse box inside.

Post a pic of the rear connectors.
Do you own a volt meter?
    Where will you mount it.
Do you know how to splice?
    Where is the antenna mount?

No to those questions. The end of the connectors are round eyelets.
