The older you get, the less receptive your bladder is to being told what to do.... :frusty:

    Morning all

I used to play for hours with them, I had hoped my son would be the same. I brought out my old collection and bought him some new sets.

I put them together, he had no interest.

At one point he was going to give them to his friend.

    I had a fit.

Stupid wind... Storm started rolling in about 3am. 30mph wind gusts slamming into my windows from that point on so it was impossible to sleep. Gonna be a long day.

    Good afternoon peeps!

I had the fire basically snuff out in the woodstove around 4am. There was about 12" of glowing embers/coals in the bottom from running 4 days non-stop, the grate was so choked off that it couldn't draw in any air, even when I opened the ash bin door. I shoveled out 2 buckets full of glowing red coals, leaving about 2" bed of glowing coals, loaded in some more ash wood and got it going again. JFC, this woodstove makes you ' earn' the heat..

I sees another BIG nasty storm forming in the mid west, right now it looks like my area will get skipped on the snow and possibly get some ice. Personally I'd rather have nothing then any ice. Job search is getting beyond depressing, I interviewed at a new place that cuts commercial glass ( think glass enclosures, showers, corporate meeting rooms, ect..) nothing but basic unskilled grunt work ( although I'm sure someone will say that putting a piece of glass into a tempering oven is skilled labor...) and I gets a ' we have nothing for you ' e-mail from them....

Good afternoon folks! Looking forward to a bunch of snow this week. Calling for 8-14" here on Wednesday. While this might be a catastrophe for some I actually look forward to it about once a year. Snow blower is up and running well. Shovels all lined up and accounted for (including the two I just threw in the back of the Taco this morning). Tow straps ready to pull people out of the front ditches along our winding residential road. This could be some serious fun! :rasta:
