Just installed my light bar on my body armor front bumper but came into some hardware issues that concerns me for future issues. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same thought process or was I just over thinking. The mounting plates that came with the bumper for the light bar has no notches to keep the bar set at your adjustment. And comes with nothing to address the concern. So I fixed it up to make me feel a lil better with specific lock washers and light lock tight. If there is something someone else did let me know or maybe I'm gna have to find mounting hardware that will fit the bumper with the notches for my light bar. Will let y'all know if it gives me issues. I don't have a picture of the mounting hardware it came with sorry. Thnx

You'll be fine. I used a spacer and the brackets included with my light bar. Zero issues here. 20220131_111342.jpg 20220131_111359.jpg

    Oh look, another mod....

I have the same bumper that you do, and I'm pretty sure I have the same light bar. I paid a local shop to install the bumper & light at the same time. They said the light bar gave them issues and they had to use different screws. I'm glad to see yours isn't flush with the bumper. I thought that was weird when I saw it set back like that.

I also bought this flip up license plate bracket:

Looks good! I'm sure you can get it closer.. mine sits about 1/4 on an inch from the bumper so I can have adjustability and avoid any rattles.
I went with that bracket for my plate so I can show off the Factor 55 flat link
On another note, can't wait to rock those Texas plates soon

The brackets for my RC light bar were too tall to use in the bumper so I had to use what body armor gave me. If it was a smaller light bar like u have the brackets that came with the bar may have worked

What kind of spacers did you use? I’m trying to run the same lightbar on my SSO bumper but the sizing seems off.

Did you ever find this out? I’m also trying to install a 20” RC Black Amber DRL light bar on a SSO Slimline bumper and having issues with the hardware supplied.
