I have the factory one. The Toyota website says the divider won't fit with the factory cover.

Very cool footage! Do you mind telling me where this trail is located? I'm trying to get into light off-roading not that I have some time. Just don't know where to get started :)

Hey Bobby, I am not sure I would exactly call this light off-roading.

This is some serious shit we are doing. :fistbump:

Airing down your tires is required, full recovery gear is required, winch required.

Maybe we are making it look like anyone in a Tacoma can do it? If you are setup right, with the correct knowledge and experience you can do this stuff.

I have spent years getting to this point. :bananadance:

    :cookiemonster:

    Anyway,

These trails are on the VMUTS trail system. It has dedicated trails for 4x4 vehicles in the winter, just for this :transformer:

    https://www.vmuts.ca/

The trails high lighted on this map are available for 4x4 vehicles to use in the winter for snow wheeling, as well as trail #70.

All of #93 should be highlighted as it is dedicated for 4x4's in winter. At the west end of #93, the small section coming off #36 which is #48 to #93 and back to #36 a small loop is what we attempted to completed in that video.

Wow Thanks a lot for the information! Definitely looks pretty challenging and fun, I'm in the process of planning my build right now and learning the basics of off-roading. Would the trail be easier in the summer with less snow?

Yes these trails are perfect to learn on in the summer!

You can go from dirt roads, to as hard as you want for a beginner.

Yes sir, full send can make up for almost all of it.

Well if you have questions on what you want to do and help with building it, A lot of us here have experimented with various builds to suit our needs.

some run these trucks like glorified ATVS
others pretend they're capable of rock crawling
the ones that do it for the instagram
and for the majority of us, it's our only daily.

trust us, we know the best way to spend your money:cookiemonster:
(no seriously, we wont recommend anything that we know could endanger you. for example OEM factory side steps are absolutely worthless and could do more damage than not having it at all.)

but understand the biggest thing about off roading. Light or not.

    You will scratch shit.

    you will dent shit.

    You will break shit.

And you will have the time of your life.

end of discussion. It's a matter of when not if.

So with that said make peace with your paint now and forever hold your steering wheel.
Saving your paint while offroading is like saying you're not going to bang your girlfriend to save her for the next guy. Each pin stripe and scratch is a story, make an adventure out of it.

It was not. In fact the plug wire boot was quite stubborn and took some swearing to come off, mostly due to the tight confines of a boxer engine. The boot revealed evidence of carbon tracking:

    HVYELNezFr1t85boVKRAYoEPyXlfeq-9RL13bR1P_de19d1d56d2193c03e6407235cbf5b8b943d99c1.jpg

Removed the spark plug and confirmed carbon tracking on the ceramic. More interestingly, the Denso TT plug's iridium center electrode has almost completely eroded away after just 30,000 km:

    s9Xo7kFl_LtMlqyUOQ60qNuQ3lB_DD7dR3j5xbNN_143458a52c246ce5c920c5c8e472b55cd1e6739a.jpg

The OEM plug is cheaper double platinum NGK 5463, so I just ordered that along with NGK 55004 plug wires.
