    Hey there TW
I’m Jason, and this is my new (to me) Tacoma! We look forward to many years of enjoying it camping and exploring the North Maine Woods.
Thanks in advance for helping me spend my money!!

Got a quick opportunity to run a fire road that I use as a gauge of how a rig runs off-road. The is a bit of rocks a bunch of puddles and just a little mud. I tried out the MTS switch for the first time. Almost no wheel slip at all. For a stock vehicle running the factory tires I couldn’t be happier!
This is the native environment for a Tacoma I’m pretty sure.

Time to kick this build off with spring right around the corner. Up here in Maine this can end up being some of the snowiest months of the year. We recorded -10°F here a couple nights ago!
After an excruciating wait @upTOPoverland has shipped my upTOP TRUSS bed rack! Now we just are waiting for the boys in brown to get their job done and drop that package off! By next weekend I will have the bed rack installed and we will install our Smittybilt Overlander and hopefully get a quick overnight run to the North Maine Woods into the books. Life has been crazy these last few years with building a house on my off time and beginning to raise two little girls, so this summer we have made it a goal to get out and camp every weekend from the beginning of July till the end of September.

Next up will be an Alpha roof rack. I am a huge fan of how these racks look when paired up on 3rd gen Tacoma’s.

After I get the roof rack installed a few more goodies will be added including an ARB awning, a portable battery solution and a couple storage cases.

Awesome! Hope you enjoy your overlander RTT like I have enjoyed mine. It’s worked great for me and help up against some pretty nasty elements. What kind of portable battery solution are you looking at?

I received my package from @upTOPoverland the other day, and proceeded to get the rack all put together in under an hour!!! I am really impressed with the system and how well everything fit together. The packaging was good enough that even after UPS kicked and rolled the boxes from CO to ME the powder coating was in pretty good shape unlike the boxes. This afternoon I managed to install my tent to the rack and should get the maxtrax mounting attached.

My older daughter claimed right up into the bed of the truck to check out the new arrangement and promptly announced it was time to go camping and open up the tent!CEB4A056-A8F3-40DE-AEDB-7C32A02E1717.jpg

I love this tent though it is perhaps a little small for my whole family. It has held up well during some wet camping trips and seems to be about as affordable as available.
I would love to get a Yeti Goal Zero but I think I will try out a Jackery 500 and hopefully it lasts for a good bit.

Hopefully a few more changes coming soon but I’m very happy with the gear I have.
Over the summer I added a drawer system, 15293CB3-1EE2-4502-9465-65E4A0A3C680.jpg some roof storage, 67C42CF2-9D48-429A-A6AE-B10085D62503.jpg new tires E1C1EE17-6787-447B-BB37-107D577F8935.jpg

Last weekend we spent dodging rain at the Northeast Adventure Co summit up here in Maine. It was a blast and an awesome opportunity to see tons of rigs all set up!
