I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD OffRoad with a 6 cylinder. Sometimes when I’m driving down the interstate the truck will go into a limp mode. I have to pull over and restart it. It always starts. Any ideas?

Check engine light? Any codes? Any aftermarket wiring fuckery? Date code on the battery? Battery terminal condition?

Welcome to the forum. Could be a bad crank shaft position sensor. 16’s had an issue with them.
