So, I am finally ready to drop some coin on upgraded suspension, front and rear. My 2013 DCSB Tacoma already has a bunch of upgrades.....ARB front bumper, winch, sliders, snorkel, Prinsu rack, 18" XD wheels with 32" Nitto Grapler mudtires. Current suspension is a 2.5" spacer lift on all stock OEM Bilsteins and rear leafs OEM. Spacer lift looks cool, but I want to really upgrade the off-road performance and go to a real lift. I live in the mountains, lots of root and rocks and crawling, not much high speed desert action, so I am pretty sure I want to go mid-travel, not long travel. How would you choose to upgrade to midtravel ? I am working on building out a rough parts list. Strongly considering the Bilstein 6112s, new UCA and LCA, maybe bigger tires, front diff drop, TomWoods drive shaft upgrade, maybe upgraded ECGS and CVs at the same time, what else am I overlooking? I know someone else has done this on a 2nd gen and might have already been down this path, so I would love to chat with you more. Thanks!

My gross vehicle weight is currently at exactly 5100lbs, just weighed it at a truck stop :p If I load up with gear and full sized spare for an off-road adventure, I am probably pushing 5500~ lbs

-You have a great start by looking here on the forums. I would continue reading up on all of the other threads that discuss suspension choices
-Narrow down your options based on price, performance, availability and ease of install
-I would also suggest looking for a complete package vs piecing together your own.
-Maybe then reach out to some companies offering those kits you like to get feedback based on your needs and budget

    Tons of options out there

    Do you have:
    $10k, $5k, $3k or $1.5k coin?
Want mostly on road performance improvement or off-road?

If money were not a problem, what would be the best off-road improvement choice? :>

Icon digressive if the territory is high speed, curves and dips. Doubles nicely for on street performance.

A progressive setup for slow travel whoops and rocks.

Doesn't look like you're scared to spend money. Call Accutune, buy once cry once. I drive my truck pretty hard & their shock package is never a complaint
