Yikes! I ordered from them over Black Friday when they offered $25 off (I got the '05-'15 Tacoma version) -- so it looks like it's $5 cheaper right now. Solid construction and would buy again.

Do you have any clue why they weren't successful? Glad it's not gone and sorry to go see

Take a look on the left side of the main page here at TW; scroll down to Vendors, and you'll be able to find some options. There's at least one there (Talon's Garage) that is a business started by a TW member to sell just this product.

I have a Talon's Garage on mine, but if I were in the market for one I would get this instead https://catshield.com

There are pros and cons to both I'm sure, the Talon's one seems thicker. I would pass on the security bolts and find your own option. I personally feel its too fragile for the amount of torque needed.

OP What town do you live in? I got the Cat Security and sleep well knowing it's covered. (recommended)

How do you like that one? It looks pretty nice on the website. Did you do the install yourself? If so, did it require any drilling?

Any idea if this will interfere with the TRD Pro skid?

No interference, it worked with my TRD Faux skid. Same thing as the Pro, minus the TRD logo.

are there any full skids that truly protect the cat though (or at least provide the most protection)? Most I've seen still allow enough access to get to the cat and cut it out.

    A low Comprehensive Deductible helps.

They cut one side of mine and got scared off at 4am.

A $2400 bill from Toyota only cost me $100 and I got to keep the old Cat.

Mine overlapped about 1/2inch. Loosened up the skid plate and tucked the cat in. No problem.
