URD Supercharged reg cab on eBay, don't see those every day. I really like 2nd gen regs. I'd be tempted to jump on a super clean low miler if it popped up. I thought this was an AZ truck until I looked at the CF

    Stuff. Also things.
    Long post inbound :D

I think there’s a lot to that! The only real injury I’ve gotten while lifting was from doing heavy singles. I was warmed up, I felt great, and I just kept pushing. Never felt anything pop or anything, but later that night my right hip started really hurting. Now I have a pretty noticeable click in that hip and it’ll bark at me if I go too heavy too soon.

I basically adapted a program by Dan John called Easy Strength. It’s a resistance training program that can be used with restricted calories, so the intensity is pretty moderate. You basically rotate between two exercises for each movement type: vertical push and pull, horizontal push and pull, a hip hinge movement like the deadlift, explosive movements, weighted carries, and ab work. The idea is to do 3-4 exercises every day, no more than 10 reps total, with minimal rest at a light to moderate load where you can keep your form up. Then each day after the lifting you do some steady cardio. When you feel comfortable adding a little weight, you make small jumps on an exercise by exercise basis.

I’m just getting started, but I’m already having to reduce the weights a bit because ego. The only way to maintain it day to day is to keep the weight relatively light at first, so it definitely forces you to be humble numbers-wise so you don’t overdo it. Since my goal is to weigh less when the riding season hits, it helps with that for sure, but still keeps me lifting in some way.

Should I be as nervous as I am to try the on campus sushi?
Doesn’t look scary, but it might be.

The first time I tried sushi was at a gas station in Montana.

You are a brave, brave man

Food poisoning is easily one of the worst physical ailments I've ever been through, at least one of them was.

I've only gotten food poisoning twice...once at a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant out in the desert (friends and I went in right before closing, I have a feeling it was retribution), and another time while in Nicaragua. I either broke the "don't drink the water" rule or it was something I ate, but that was by far the worst one. Plus, feeling deathly ill in another country and all

I was eating Immodium by the handful and it was doing absolutely nothing lol. 4 days of puking out of every orifice every 5 minutes, night & day
