My store is out of the $11 and $13 options :pout: I'll probably go up a bit in quality to their $30 (24 w/ coupon) 7amp Bauer one. Like you said, if it's just wire wheels it shouldn't get stressed too much

I had one of the Chicago electric grinders and had the same problem with the switch working. I opened the housing and found that the plastic part of the switch that engages the contacts is flimsy and would bend out of place. I was able to fix it with zip ties but it was enough to lower my confidence in it. The Hercules line is leaps and bounds better than the old Chicago line.

I now have two Hercules grinders, and an old ryobi grinder that refuses to quit.

one thing about grinders they need to fit your hand other wise they are uncomfortable to use

I was never a big fan of Harbor freight I had never even been in a store.

A friend and i went to look at a truck with time to kill went in one might be 15 years ago.

I bought a few of the cheap grinders I would need to look for the brand they held up far better then I thought they would the only one I killed was dropped about 20' onto a concrete floor .

Granted with many grinders they did not see constant use.

I have a couple Bosch GWS8-45 specifically because they’re small. $49. I’ve only had one die on me and it died when my friend decided to spend a couple hours mangling some 6063 with grinding wheel. (He’s not allowed to borrow my tools any more. Lol)

Something I’ve been working on the past few weeks. It’s a road feeder for the hunt camp. Goes in the hitch of your truck and slings corn at the flick of a switch that runs into the cab and into the cig. lighter. Companies sell these, but none of them I really like. Aluminum hopper that holds ~120# of corn, swing out capable so you can still drop the tailgate… should work pretty good.

Can you legally bait deer in your state??

Here you can not hunt within 500 yards of bait.

Looks like a interesting project. I guess you don`t see to many salt spreaders yet!!

Still working on my tire carrier. Most the cuts are done and fitting looks good. Decided to do some early morning, 0330, welding. It's been a couple months so I did a few practice Ts to make sure the machine settings were dialed in. Then tacked in the vertical post to the tire holder and the first of two gussets.

Some kind of table, varies slightly from our other tables as there's a hole in the middle for a pole to go in.
