Recall for third brake light leak

Small update on my truck. I've been in a Toyota paid for rental for 3 weeks now.

A friend of mine saw my truck when he went to the dealership, not knowing it was there told the guy, "I know that truck and the owner!"

Dealership is saying I'm basically getting an entire new interior.

They are removing the cap and putting the cap back on for a total of 1 hour worth of labor.

In the grand scheme of things, I'm basically considering it paying about $100 for an entire new interior.

 

I'm on week 2 with my truck being repaired. I was told the interior has all be removed and they're awaiting Servpro to come in this Friday and treat it, they expect I should have it back sometime next week. I never saw puddles of water in the back, no moisture in the carpet and no interior fogging due to moisture. I was really surprised they mold unless it was deep under the insulation.

In the meantime I'm driving a 2021 T4R SR5 Premium and I love the dame thing. It's on the list to replace the wife's car when she's done with her Chevy.

I'm curious if my Clazzios will come back installed, they've been on the seats since Apr 2016.

 

I’d ask before they replace the seats and they just get tossed

 

I still don't have my truck. Had a loaner Taco since about Oct 1.

Picked it up with 7 miles on the truck, and now it has over 4300.

I may have to call them to schedule maintenance.

 

I got mine back this week after they had it for almost four months.

 

I got my notice a week ago. It's pretty dry here in New Mexico, so no leaks.
