A corny tradition but the first set of wheels for my cars have been Enkei. Thanks to this thread and all the great looking trucks on RPT1s, the tradition carried over to my first truck. Here's my contribution to this thread.

Anyone know if SILVER will be offered in Toyota fitment(16x8)? I've seen on Enkei's site they offer Raptor in silver, but just Gunmetal Gray for Tacoma(or bronze in other places).

Definitely the wheel I want, but if I'm going to spend the $$$ I want that color for my MGM. Thanks!

I doubt it. It’s hard to find all black of the OG style of RPT1s.
Best bet is to get them powder coated.

We have very similar taste! I also had a 2002 tiag silver M3! Your BFG's look huge. What size are you running on those 17's?

I checked the thread but I’m looking into getting a set of these. Should I go with the 16x8 106 or 108 bore?? Does the bore size make any difference while off-roading?

You shouldn't have any problems with off roading. Get hub rings if you get a bigger bore to avoid any vibrations. I have a set of the OG Rpt1s in 108.5 mm bore and no complaints.

The OG's were 108 bore, but now the they come in 110 bore. Well at least that what the box said. I have the 110 on my truck and zero issues so far. Cannot recommend these wheels enough.

Thanks! Is there a specific hub ring size?

    Just pulled the trigger
buying a tire and wheel package from tirerack
looks like they are of the new version 528-680-8400GM that has the exact bore size of our Tacoma so hopefully I don't have to get hub centric rings

good to know, you probably took great care centering the wheel while tightening the lugnuts and the wheels sit correctly dead center
the hub centric rings just help guide and keep the wheel center, but if you can do it with lugnuts it'll probably be fine if no vibration

Congrats!!! Be sure to post pics once you get them mounted.

I also have a 2wd Tacoma and notice the 16 inch size shows available for 2wd, but not for 4wd. Did you ask about this when ordering? If this is true we FINALLY have a reason to be thankful for purchasing the 2wd version

I think it's just tirerack's data issue, I'm pretty sure as long as it's 6x139 lug pattern, any 16, 17, 18 will work on Tacomas regardless of 2wd or 4wd.

tirerack does warn about aggressive fitment, but I'm running stock size tires so I think I'm okay without having to trim mudflaps

    Screen Shot 2022-04-04 at 7.19.22 PM.jpg

I ordered the wheel and tire package with TPMS sensors and tirerack says they will mount everything and balance for free and throw in some free lug nuts and lug adapter (no idea what it is, the bore size matches hub size and no rings needed). I'm assuming they'll just bubble wrap the wheels mounted when shipped, otherwise I'd be pissed if they get scratched during shipping

Downsizing from the TSS package Nitto Terra Grappler 265/65/17 and the unknown black wheels

to 265/70/16 keeping the circumference stock. TW recommend Michelin Defender for pavement use and that's 99% of the time I'll be driving so it makes sense for me.

The truck feels like it's on Viagra. Steering feels a lot lighter. For the 4 banger it needs all the help it can get from reducing unsprung mass.

I'm a believer now and I'll most likely install RPT1 on my 4Runner too
