Get a Giant Reign 1 is a great bike lite, 6 in. travel at rear 5.5 front for some light downhill and climbs like a goat. Or a trance that's more xc.

Funny you think the specialized is a piece of crap when the only things to break on your bike were not made by specialized.

The Voltage FR is a much burlier bike, no doubt, but they're made for different types of riding. If you were riding the endure like the FR10 was made to be ridden, no wonder you were breaking parts.

If you got the money the yeti 575 is the best of both worlds imo. But...the best for your money is still the Specialized stumpy...their part spec is more superior then what you are gonna get on any other bike for the money.

Any bike you buy regardless of cost will suck when pushed past it's limits and ridden on shit beyond it's intended function. Just take your 8000.00 road bike out and do cyclocross or freeride it and see how long it lasts. All that hi dollar componentry would last about as long as the dept store bike would. Take your 5000.00 XC, DH or freeride bike on a road ride and enjoy the suck pushing around 30lbs or more. Then on the other hand, any bike being ridden anywhere is better than not riding at all.:D

actually both the fork and rear shock was made by specialized and ya i did ride it like a fr bike but never did anything that i didn't thing that the bike would ride away from. plus the reason i broke one of the derulars was because the hanger broke off and put it through the rear wheel.
