The one-handed chauffeur reach around. A quick reach around while you're driving to smack your kid and his friends too if they disrespect. Swerve the car back and forth for the full effect.

 

In my day that's what I got from my dad if I pissed him off. Nowadays kids have the state family services number on speed dial.

While reading the OP’s story, I kept waiting for the hilarious punchline! It never came.

After 30 years, I've learned to pretty much ignore the BS. Ain't worth leavin'.

 

No back seat drivers for my truck...don't have a taxi. Biggest issue i run into, or rather they run up on me is the asshats with larger trucks, or the jeep owners that like to intimidate you when driving at normal speeds. You just know they don't like tacoma's. When i owned a tundra it rarely happened.

44yrs for me, I get the same shit usually if I get to annoyed I just pull over to a rest area I get done first hop in the passenger seat hand her the keys and we don't move till she drives. Then she gets the same treatment till we get to another rest stop. I won't hear that shit the rest of the trip.

 

Have you heard about the Subaru speaker upgrade? Apparently it allows you to play the music louder then stock speakers do.
