Installed the Fox 2 5 coil overs and the SPC UCA. Just an inch of lift now and the caster was set at +2° in both sides. Running the stock GY 265/70/16. Am getting this noise at 20 + mph. No sound if I'm going straight but a slight turn on the wheel to the left or right triggers a sound like sharpening a knife on a rotating grinder stone. Not sure if it's a needle bearing issue. Didn't check if the noise will go away when placing in four wheel drive.

I hope I didn't screw up the steering by overextending the tie rod and cv axle when I installed the coilovers. I had to push down hard on the lower control arm to get the lower part of the coilovers into the bottom mount.

Sounds like the dust cover for the disc break might have been either bumped out of place or bent during the install.

It's not. The shield looks okay. Mahalo for the suggestion.

Just want to wrap up. The noise went away after I did a cursory alignment using strings and jacks. I assume the noise was due to the front tire was dragging along when I turned slightly to the left or right.
