Hey Taco-Surfer is that setup the same as the below? If not, do you have a link? Also, if anyone else wants to chime in on best interior lighting I'd like to hear it. I know there are a lot of previous posts, but I'm asking what you think in retrospect, if you'd do the same, new products that weren't available, etc. Thanks.

I just bought this GTFO Light. I can't wait to install them

 

I'm looking at same but I think they come with a cigarette lighter plug and I also think I read a post about how difficult it was to hard-wire them. I think the cigarette lighter plug is kinda clunky so I want to hard wire it. Please let me know what you're going to do and how well it works.

 

You don't have to use the cigarette light. I am going to hard wire mine into this fuse block.

I'm using a single white KC cyclone in the upper tent extrusion now and I quite like it.

 

I've got that light setup as well, hard wired to my 12V system. No issues wiring it. Snip the cig plug, run the wires through the chase and plug into the fuse box. There was enough wire included to run the two longer light bars together. Add the short one too if you like, but I wired it separately so I can turn it on by itself.

 

Hi, quick question.. I got my 75% invoice and it said pick colors/accessories, etc. I clicked to pay, and paid the invoice, but there was no way to specify colors/accessories. Anyone have the new floor panels?

 

I've been pondering on this for the last year. The 80/20 crossbars are the easy part. you can find them online at several locations. The mounts are what had me thinking. Trying to stay low profile but need to be strong enough to hold my Flycraft boat. This is my plan... 2"x2" aluminum angle for the sides. this provides a solid place to mount to the rack to the X1 plus a solid place to mount the crossbars. I'd looked at flat plates for the sides, mounting feet, etc. It just got dumb expensive. 20 ft of angle and 9 crossbars should come in about $400 and only be 2' tall. I can jig a wide flute burr in my router and shape the ends and possibly a little fancy work as well. Powdercoat it all when I'm done. Going to pick up a small piece of angle to play with this weekend

 

Where are you guys mounting your molle panels? I bought 2 because I was flush at the time, and I've had them mounted at the front window, but I haven't attached much to them for a variety of reasons. I'm hoping to see photos of examples of where you have them positioned and what you have on them. Thanks.

 

RangeRick, good question. I’m anxious to see what others have done.

My plan is to install one behind the driver’s side window same as you. It will hold a first aid kit and fire extinquisher.
My second will go in the rear driver’s side with dump bags for miscellaneous “stuff” I will/may need when the tailgate is open, or when I am in bed and nd to reach something (fixed blade knife, cell charger, etc).
Behind the passenger side where you have a Molle panel, I plan to install my power panel with solar and DC to DC charger. My battery will go in a Craftsman tool box under it to help weight distribution.

I have one on the front drivers side corner that holds propane and fire extinguisher, and one back passenger side with coffee kit, cooking fuel etc.

I really need to get some updated interior photos- maybe this will motivate me this week.

 

I picked up my camper back in January extremely happy with it so far. The extra space and ease of setup is outstanding compared to the bedrack and soft shell rtt that I had previously. Interior build is pretty basic, planning on building in a storage box in front of the fridge eventually.
