Hello! New here, kinda…

Just saying hello!!

Finally joined up after about a year of trolling posts to help with my build. Can only assume I’m not the only one… any who, I really wanted to say thanks to all of you awesome folks here who unknowingly help out so many with your diligently posted “how-to’s” and questions and answers to them! Cheers you are all unsung hero’s.

As far as I go, used to have a 3rd gen 4runner I loved but when people started buying them for small fortunes I sold mine for a mint and swooped up a great deal on my now current…. magnetic gray (charcoal!) 2017 TRD off-road!!!!! Seeing as I didn’t track my journey but, instead, sifted through everyone else’s who had - I’m pretty much done with what I want to do.

HOWEVER, I think I may want to swap out my front OME 885s to 886s. I figured the SSO Hybrid Slimeline and Smittybilt w/ synthetic line wouldn’t be too much but, I’m raked a bit more than my liking now that it’s sagged a bit more than expected. I’ll try to find the right thread for this (as this is my very first post) and ask there but, do we think 886 would lift me back up enough to level me out again some more?

And does ANYONE have any pics detailing how to tap into the DRL wiring behind the head lamps so I can get these backlights to work on my off-road lights?
