    No doubt about it. My truck was assembled in Mexico. God knows what lack of quality control went on in that plant. No offense to Mexican or US plants, but it is NOT Japan quality. My wife's 2016 CX5 (made in Japan) has zero specs of rust or paint issues. More miles... older... same color... and yet, in superb exterior and interior condition.

    It’s not just the Tacoma’s though, my wife had a white Prius and the day before we sold it a chunk of paint the size of a silver dollar came off when I was washing it. I didn’t loose the sale but I did have to drop the price.
